About the Team

The Indiana Pacers joined the NBA for the 1976-77 season as one of four former American Basketball Association franchises to cross over when the two leagues merged. The three-time ABA champions struggled from the beginning in the NBA, posting only one winning season in their first 13 NBA campaigns. After a decade and a half of failure, the team finally began to play .500 ball in the early 1990s. By mid-decade, the Pacers had become one of the Eastern Conference's top clubs. From 1994-2000, they reached the conference finals five times, won two Central Division titles and advanced to the NBA Finals in 2000.

About the Stadium

Formerly Market Square, current home of the Indiana Pacers, Conseco Fieldhouse opened its doors September 15, 1974 sporting a 16,530 capacity and two parking garages adjacent to the arena able to accommodate 1,300 patrons. Whether it's a Pacers game or any other exciting event at Conseco Fieldhouse, you'll be experiencing an environment that is unparalleled in all other entertainment venues. Conseco Fieldhouse offers concourses up to 60 feet to make maneuvering to one of the 100 plus concession stands a walk in the park. The Home Court gift shop is the official team store located at the northwest corner of Conseco Fieldhouse. It is open during all Pacers games ready to serve all of your memorabilia needs.
